Sophie Butler

Sophie holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours. Sophie discovered her passion for physiotherapy through her upbringing in dance, where she gained firsthand insight into the physical demands placed on the body and the importance of injury prevention. 

With over 19 years of experience as a dancer and more than 10 years as a dance teacher, Sophie has worked across a wide range of styles including classical ballet (RAD), contemporary, lyrical, jazz, tap, acrobatics, strength and conditioning, and Progressing Ballet Technique.

Sophie has also gained experience in performance and sporting recovery environments, including working at the Stromlo Running Festival (2024), the Sydney Marathon (2025), and completing a physiotherapy placement with the Canberra United elite women’s soccer team.

When she’s not at the clinic, Sophie enjoys running, going on hikes, and pilates.

Sophie is passionate about supporting everyone from high-performing athletes to everyday individuals in achieving confident, pain-free movement.
