Aarya Mahajan is a skilled and compassionate physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Canberra. He has extensive clinical experience across private practice, rehabilitation units, neurological wards, and aged care, treating a wide range of conditions including musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, post-operative recovery, and neurological disorders.
Aarya adopts a patient-centred, results-driven approach, combining advanced manual therapy, evidence-based exercise prescription, and tailored education to empower individuals throughout their recovery. He is committed to identifying the root causes of dysfunction and designing rehabilitation programs that align with each patient’s goals and lifestyle.
Alongside his clinical work, Aarya provides physiotherapy support to a range of sports teams, including Rugby Union and Taekwondo. He works closely with Australian Taekwondo, supporting national athletes, and serves as a sports trainer for the ANU Norths Owls Rugby Club (Men’s 1st to 5th Grade, Women’s XV and X teams). His expertise with athletes spans injury prevention, acute injury management, return-to-play planning, and long-term performance optimisation.
With over 12 years of coaching experience as a Taekwondo instructor, Aarya has delivered high-level martial arts training across all ages. His deep involvement in the sport led to his appointment as lead physiotherapist for the Australian Taekwondo National Team.
Beyond Taekwondo, Aarya is passionate about movement and performance, actively engaging in tennis, cricket, CrossFit, and running. Known for his approachable and professional manner, he combines technical expertise with personalised care, earning the trust of patients and athletes alike. Committed to ongoing professional development, Aarya remains at the forefront of physiotherapy practice, delivering exceptional care across both clinical and athletic settings.
